Canned tomatoes have been an intriguing motif in art, with a wide range of appearances in art history from Andy Warhol's silkscreen prints to modern performance art. 🍅

We love how French artist François Bel has approached this iconic motif in such an exciting way. In his “Big Bangs” series, François sets every day objects in synthetic crystal "as though frozen in the explosion's ultimate moment of grace".
